The Ham Filter Bank is a very high performance, multi-bandpass filter designed to enhance the reception in five ham radio bands. With advanced filtering technology, it delivers exceptional signal isolation and improved signal selectivity. The available high performance passband filters include:
- 2m (144MHz-148MHz)
- 1.25m (220MHz-225MHz)
- 70cm (420MHz-450MHz)
- 33cm (902MHz-928MHz)
- 23cm (1240MHz-1300MHz)
Assembly
- Attach the small push button cap to the button switch on the far left of the board. This switch enables and disables bias tee current on the input port, allowing you to power another device down the RF chain
- Attach the rotary switch cap to the rotary switch at the top center of the board. This allows switching between 7 control options: the 5 HAM bands, ‘off’ and ‘through’. ‘Through’ allows frequency through without any filtering taking place by the band filters. 'Off' will attenuate signal at the output.
Operation
- Connect your antenna to the Input of the Ham Filter Bank
- Then connect your SDR to the output of the Ham Filter Bank. You will require a male SMA to male SMA connector for this
- Power your Ham Filter Bank either via bias tee, USB or pinhead power
- Tune to your HAM band of choice
- Adjust the rotary control on the Ham Filter Bank to match the frequency being tuned. Enjoy!
⚠ User Safety
- Only power the Ham Filter Bank with one power option at any given time; bias tee, USB or pin header
- The maximum recommended input power is 0 dBm
- Ensure voltage input does not exceed 5.5 V
- This device is not weatherproof. Weatherproofing precautions should be taken if installing outdoors
- Contains small parts not suitable for young children
